We're back to a full market this week at EQ!

Like everyone else in Sydney, we are beyond ecstatic that the city is getting back to normal and life is picking up where we left off. Our returned freedoms were hard-won, but now that they’re back, we’re revelling in those little everyday moments we can’t believe we ever took for granted. Among them, shopping, of course.

We’re delighted to announce we’re back to a full market this week! While we have continued to provide essential groceries to the community we cherish, our market hasn’t quite been its old self these past few months. But as of tomorrow, we return with all our wonderful stallholders – from the essential to the delicious to the simply delightful – to relish being together once more. We can’t wait to see you at EQ tomorrow and again on Wednesday.

Join us at our healthy, fresh-air market and show your support for small retail businesses who have acutely felt the financial pressure of the pandemic. Come along, grab a coffee and stroll the stalls to pick yourself up a little freedom treat. Bring your picnic rug and spread out on the oval with a selection of delicious offerings from our incredibly tempting array of hot food stalls. It’s finally time to embrace that simple pleasure of strolling your local market alongside your neighbours.

And a note: of course, while our freedoms are returning we are very aware the pandemic is far from over. We will continue to provide a Covid-safe environment and follow all safety guidelines. Help us to keep the market open by checking in, social distancing and if you feel unwell, please stay home.

Cookies make everything better

If you’re emerging from lockdown still a bit shell-shocked by the whole ordeal, make a beeline for Thicc Cookies at the market tomorrow for a little sweetness to soothe the soul. Dedicated to baking the best, thickest (that’s Thiccest) cookies you’ve ever devoured, these guys will cure all with their US-inspired, large-format baked goods, from gooey s’mores to peanut butter and jelly iterations.
