Happy new year to all our wonderful stallholders and customers. We hope you had a restful Christmas and that you are staying safe at this stressful time. Luckily, markets provide a great environment for safe shopping and socialising. Being outdoors is the safest place to shop and all our markets are Covid-safe.

We are back this weekend with our first market of the year this Sunday at Ryde. The Ryde Wharf Market will be held at Anderson Park, Meadowbank, from 8am-2pm. We can’t wait to see you there with our wonderful stallholders who will bring all manner of goods from fresh fruit and vegetables to coffee, cake, bread, beautiful things for the home, and, of course, delicious brunch fare. We look forward to seeing you there. Stallholders, we have a couple of spots free if you would like to participate. Please put in your application today.

Our beautiful bi-weekly market at the Entertainment Quarter, Cambridge Markets EQ, will be back on Wednesday. We are very excited to say that the market canopy has been replaced and we will be back under cover when we launch back for the year this week. The market has never looked better and will be an important place for us all this year as we look to do our shopping and socialising outside. Come by to say hi.

The following Sunday, January 16, Wentworth Point will come alive with our monthly market in this lovely location. The Wentworth Point Market takes place at Marina Square, Wentworth Place, Wentworth Point from 8am-2pm, with all manner of goods on offer, from fresh food to flowers to homewares and more. We can’t wait to see you at this very popular and friendly market. We are opening a handful of places for new stallholders for 2022 if any stallholders are interested in joining us in this fabulous location. Please be quick as they will be snapped up.

We also have two brilliant big summer markets coming up in the coming month, which we have scheduled after the weather difficulties we experienced last year.

The Watsons Bay Summer Market will be held at Robertson Park, Watsons Bay, on Sunday January 30, 10am-3pm. This will be a huge outdoor market of more than 150 stallholders across homewares, fashion, kids goods, things for pets, art, craft, jewellery, photography and so much more. We can’t wait to finally hold this amazing market.

Then, on the weekend of February 5-6, our big Shire market will be held. The Shire Summer Market will be on at Seymour Shaw Oval, Miranda. Again, this will be a lovely outdoor mixed market with so much to love and discover. We can’t wait to welcome everyone back to these very popular mixed markets. We will be doing plenty of social distancing and following safety precautions to make sure everyone stays safe.
