MARVELLOUS MARCH

We have an exciting promotion starting in March. Each Saturday during the month we are giving away a $200 shopping experience to our customers. To enter, customers simply have to shop at the market on any Saturday in March to receive a ticket to go into the draw to win. The winners can redeem their prize at any participating stall at EQ during the month. Please come along and enter as many times as you like — the more you shop, the more chances you have to win. Each winner will be drawn at the end of each day’s market and the winners will be notified by phone and on our website (cambridgemarketseq.com.au). Good luck shoppers!

HAVE A STALL AT EQ!

We are always on the hunt for stallholders who offer exceptional-quality produce and products. If you care deeply about your community, your world and the things you create for it, and would like to be a part of this exceptional market, please get in touch. We are looking for: food stalls, producers, farmers, growers, providores and hot food vendors.

We are also considering applications from stallholders offering: unique homewares (particularly locally made or produced), quality gifts including candles, stationery, sunglasses and leatherwork, fashion (particularly local or emerging designers), funky childrensware, beauty and health products (particularly organic or botanic), hand-crafted ceramics, jewellery (locally designed and created), art, toys and pet accessories. LATE-SUMMER FEASTING

There’s a late-summer bounty at the markets at the moment. We are currently seeing the last of the summer stone fruit, lots of local mangoes due to the warm summer conditions and more grapes, which are just coming into season. Look out for the arrival of the new season citrus fruits including navel oranges and mandarins. Best right now are the stone fruit and the tomatoes which are coming in from Horsley Park. Roma and grape tomatoes are delicious right now. Thanks to Simon Chung from Vegie King for the update.

WELCOME GREEN COW ORGANICS!

Cambridge Markets EQ is thrilled to announce we have a new butcher starting twice weekly from February 22. Green Cow Organics hails from Neutral Bay and has a strong ethical and organic background. According to Green Cow’s butchers Matthew and Allan, there are a lot of reasons to choose organic meat, including avoiding chemicals, enjoying a better taste of meat, helping preserve the ecosystem and supporting local farming. Green Cow offers top-quality cuts of meat, housemade preservative free sausages and mince and delicious prepared and pre-sauced meats ready to throw on the barbie with minimal preparation.
