The Gymea Village Festival is one of The Shire’s biggest annual events, attracting more than 50,000 patrons year year. This year Cambridge Markets will run the festival, which will have up to 200 stalls from food to fashion, wine to flowers, with the stalls running the length of Gymea Bay Road from The Kingsway to President Avenue. On offer will be the traditional, the homemade, the unusual, the beautiful, arts and craft, handbags, clothing, cakes, preserves and plenty more. As well there will be a stage with entertainment, including jazz musicians and youth bands, and a world food section with plenty of global eats. Come along for a great family day out.

This market will launch on Easter Saturday March 30, and will be on from 8am to 2pm. It will be a brilliant community market with a focus on great fresh produce, artisan food goods, baked items and global hot food. As well, we will have some scope for artisan stallholders who can bring their unique and excellent products to this market. It will be a community focused event reaching this booming area.

Specifically we are looking for lots of fresh food stalls across fruit and veg, cheese, fish, meat, dairy, baked goods, olive oil producers and so on. We are also seeking high-quality hot food vendors and coffee outlets, dessert stalls and all manner of food providers. As well we are looking for incredible artisans who can bring their unique and interesting products to the market. It will be a mixed market so the more diverse the stallholders, the better.

Cambridge Markets is thrilled to announce that we are curating a new market across from the beach in Maroubra in partnership with Randwick City Council. The Maroubra Beach Markets will be held on the first Sunday of each month from 8am-2pm. As usual, expect our eclectic mix of high-quality stalls across food, beverage, fashion, homewares, toys, art, craft, gifting, plants and plenty more. As well, this market will have a global hot food focus offering lots of wonderful dining for our customers. The market will launch on Sunday May 5 2024 and will be held monthly from then on, from 8am-2pm.
